Sewing for Eva

Been busy sewing a summer outfit for Eva. Some batik fabric from my patchwork stash. It's a case of guesswork as she doesn't want to try things on hence I have made the pants a bit longer than I intended to and the bodice is a little on the big side. Guess she will grow into it.

Five generations

This is our page for tomorrow.  I have finally managed to getaround to scrapping this photo, which has taken me ages to since it was the last picture of Mum and I didn't think we would manage to get one of the five of us.  It means the world that we did and I am pleased with the outcome, I was going to put more embellishments on but in the end I thought it would be too much.

Back again!

I have worked really hard tonight doing this page for Eva's album.  I have used Graphic45 papers on this one, got to start on them sometime.  I llook at Eva when she visits and see the likeness to Karen more and more, especially at this age.  Hope you like it.

Another page done

This is the page in my little black book.  I have used some die cut shapes that I gave to you a few weeks ago. It's quite a simple page.

Aran coat

Hi, hope you are all well!  Well here it is!  I have adapted it from a page I did in that last retreat I went on with Clare Charvill.  It works quite well and I have six photos, there is room for more in the pocket.  Hope you like it.

A little knitting

It's years since I actually knitted something and finished it.  I have an almost finished cardigan, the yarn cost an absolute fortune and one of those curly scarves half finished but big yarn and little sizes are a big help in getting a finished product.  It is a little big for her at the moment but she will grow into it.  I was a bit dubious about the colour but now I think it suits her and makes those big blue eyes even bigger.  Love her too bits. I have the yarn for the next one this time in lovely bright colours.

Hels Sheridan canvas

Just thought you would like to see how I spent my Saturday. It's wonderful being able to craft all day without having to worry about the usual household chores lol, they are still there when you get back home.  This workshop was held at Neil's Studio here in Leicester and is big enough to hold eight quite comfortably. Hels is a lovely lady and is happy to share lots of hints and tips.  Neil was the perfect host making us tea and coffee all day and afternoon tea was accompanied with the most wonderful chocolate brownies I have ever tasted made for us by Denise, Neil's wife. So a blank canvas turned into this...
